Samudrik is provided for personal, educational, and research purposes only. You may use it to study hand characteristics for yourself and with the knowledge and consent of any individual whose hand photographs you record.
3. Consent for Photographs
You must obtain the explicit consent of any person before photographing their hands or face within this app. By adding a person's record, you confirm that you have obtained the necessary consent.
4. Not Medical or Professional Advice
Samudrik is a tool for exploring the traditional Indian practice of Samudrik Shastra. Nothing in the app — including any AI-generated analysis — constitutes medical, psychological, legal, or any other professional advice. Do not make important life decisions based on this app's output. Always consult a qualified professional for health, legal, or financial matters.
5. Your Content
You retain full ownership of all photographs, notes, and other content you create in Samudrik. By optionally enabling global dataset sharing, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to include the anonymised, non-identifiable portion of that content in our research database solely for the purpose of improving palm-analysis research.
6. Prohibited Use
You agree not to:
- Use the app to record individuals without their consent
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or redistribute the app
- Use the app for any unlawful or harmful purpose
- Misrepresent AI-generated readings as professional opinions
7. Free Tier & Subscriptions
New accounts receive a limited number of free AI analysis credits. Additional credits may be available through a paid subscription. Subscription pricing and terms will be shown at the point of purchase within the app.
8. Service Availability
We strive to keep Samudrik available and up to date, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify or discontinue features at any time without prior notice.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Samudrik and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Delhi, India.
